So happy to be announcing that my original paintings will now be available as high quality print! I had been wanting to do this for a while, and the moment is finally here. Most images will be available in 5x7in and 13x19in prints. All images are printed on Museo Porfolio Rag 300 GSM paper. I recommend framing your print once it is received. I have a wonderful framer that I work with locally, so if you are interested I would be more than happy to send you their way. If you are located outside of Miami, email me and we will coordinate framing your print.
Many people like to ask me how long it takes to complete a piece. It always depends on the size. The image above left is an example of my breakdown. I like to work on one part until that segment is completed. With this piece, I wanted to complete Charlie's lower half before I moved on to any other part. Once I complete a section I usually like to open my journal and write my process in detail - colors I used, how I used them, materials, etc. This way I'll always have a reference to go back to. But once I finish a particular area of the piece, I like to stop for the day. Laziness? Most Likely. But I seem to produce better work when I limit myself to one day per section. This way I can take my time with color scheme and testing. Also, working patiently without rushing (one day at a time), allows me to spend time with my greatest masterpiece...my daughter Lyla.
